The companyOur client is a professional Food organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium. The company is a large organisation operating within the food industry with multiple production sites across West and Northern Europe.
Role descriptionAs global process engineer you will be providing a bridge between the central engineering and innovation as well as value engineering.
Due to the multiple production facilities, you will be required to travel approximately 40 - 50% of the time across Europe to visit the various sites.
You will be stimulating process improvements as well as sharing the best practices and helping with factory optimisation.
Your previous experience within the food industry has prepared you to quickly see opportunities within the industry standards.
Furthermore, you have the communication skills to work closely together with a number of different departments in multiple countries.
Responsibilities- Process optimisation across multiple sites
- Provide a bridge between multiple departments
- Provide support to the sites regarding process engineering and improvements
- Lead studies for current and future production capabilities
- Identification and sharing of best-practices
Requirements- Degree in Engineering (Chemical)
- Recent experience in the Food industry
- Experience with process improvement
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel 40 - 50%
